Delta Delta Chapter at Troy University

Kappa Delta

Our Officers

Virginia Rowlett

President

Hello! My name is Virginia Rowlett and I’m an Elementary Education major from Roswell, GA. I’m so excited for the opportunity to serve as President and to lead the chapter that has given me so much over the years. I’m incredibly thankful for KD and for the friendships and support system it’s given me. Through Kappa Delta I’ve met the most amazing women and have had so many opportunities to grow. My favorite memory of being in KD was our Shamrock Week this past spring where we raise money for our philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. Through our events, we were able to raise $57,000! I can’t imagine my college experience without Kappa Delta and I look forward to an amazing year!

Anna Grace White

Vice President New Member Educator

I’m from Brewton, AL. Junior elementary education major. I love KD because of the intentional friendships it has brought me over the past 2 years and the confidence I’ve gained!

Kylee Jackson

Vice President Membership

My name is Kylee Jackson and I’m a senior Marketing major. I’m from Pensacola, Fl and I knew the second I stepped on Troy’s campus I wanted to be a Trojan! I was so excited for college and wanted to go through rush to find my forever friends. After talking to the girls in Kappa Delta I knew that was where I belonged. I am so grateful I made the decision to go KD because I have met my forever friends. My sisters are so loving and encouraging, I couldn’t imagine my life without them!

Haylee Jemison

Vice President Operations

Hey!! I am Haylee Jemison! I am from Birmingham, AL, I am a junior, and I am studying Elementary Education! I fell in love with Kappa Delta because of how real the sisters I talked to during recruitment were. They did not put up an act that seemed fake and they made me feel like I could let my guard down and relax when I walked in and talked to them. I could tell the girls genuinely cared about what I was saying and did not make me feel like I was just another PNM. After receiving a bid from KD I continued to fall more in love with the people and what it stood for! All of the friends I have made are genuine and loving people. They make me feel like I am at home and cared for. They also inspire me daily to be honorable, beautiful, and highest!

Sydney Johnson

Vice President Community Service

I am a Junior Kinesiology major from Fairhope, AL! I chose Troy because of the size and location of the university. It is 3 hours from my home so I thought it was the perfect balance of not too far but not too close. I also love how you still get that real college experience but with a small community feel. I love walking on campus and seeing a ton of familiar faces! I love KD because of the opportunities it gives me. Never did I think I would be able to say I hosted 2 events for over 350 people and raised almost $60,000 for PCAA.

Kyndel Lee

Vice President Public Relations

I am a Senior Elementary and Special Education Major from Reeltown, Al. I chose Troy because the second I stepped on campus it felt like home! Going through recruitment was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Kappa Delta has formed me into the Confident woman I am today, and I am so grateful for that! KD has also brought me the best friends I could ever ask for!

Mauree Alice Porter

Kappa Delta has been a breath of fresh air full of new opportunities for me. I’m so grateful for my sisters who constantly encourage me to be the most honorable, beautiful, and highest woman that I can be. Without Kappa Delta or my sisters, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today and for that, I’m forever grateful. AOT always!
